Study in USA
Ivy League excellence, F-1 OPT work rights, and the world's largest research ecosystem
Country Overview
Why Study in USA?
The United States is home to the world's most prestigious universities — from Harvard and MIT to Stanford and Caltech — and hosts more international students than any other country. Over 350,000 Indian students currently study in the USA, making it the largest Indian student population abroad.
American universities are renowned for their research output, industry connections, and the career opportunities they create. STEM graduates particularly benefit from a 3-year OPT extension, giving them valuable time to build US work experience and potentially secure H-1B sponsorship for long-term careers in the world's largest economy.
While tuition costs are higher than other destinations, the quality of education, network value, and career opportunities — especially in Silicon Valley, New York, and Houston — make the USA a top choice for ambitious Indian students targeting global careers.
