Study in Cyprus
Affordable EU degree in English, Mediterranean lifestyle, and growing career opportunities
Country Overview
Why Study in Cyprus?
Cyprus is a small but increasingly popular study destination within the European Union. Located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa, this Mediterranean island offers internationally recognised EU degrees — predominantly in English — at a fraction of the cost of Western European universities.
For Indian students, Cyprus is appealing for several reasons: English-medium programs across business, IT, hotel management, and health sciences; a lower cost of living than mainland Europe; a safe and warm Mediterranean environment; and the benefit of an EU-accredited degree that opens doors across all 27 EU member states.
The island has several established private universities — European University Cyprus, University of Nicosia, Frederick University, and Cyprus International University — that actively recruit international students and offer strong support services.
