Campus France, the French government agency for international student mobility, has confirmed an increase to the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship monthly stipend for the 2026 cycle. Starting with students enrolling in September 2026, Eiffel scholars will receive €1,300 per month — up from the previous €1,181, representing a 10% increase in support.
Updated Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Package (2026)
- Monthly stipend: €1,300 (up from €1,181)
- Return flights: Covered (economy, once at start and once at end of program)
- Cultural activities allowance: €46/month (unchanged)
- Health and accident insurance: Fully covered
- Application: Through your host French institution — not directly to Campus France
2026 Deadline
French institutions nominate Eiffel candidates to Campus France — the process has two steps:
- Step 1: Apply to your chosen French institution (grande école, university) and request to be nominated for Eiffel
- Step 2: Institutions submit nominations to Campus France by mid-January 2026
- Final scholarship decisions: April 2026
Because institutions control nominations, you should reach out to your target French university's international office as early as possible — ideally in September–October 2025 for the 2026–27 intake.
